OILERS TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE AT BOK CENTER

The Oilers will host a press conference on Tuesday, Sep. 14 at 1:30 p.m. inside the BOK Center

TULSA, OK — The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, are holding a press conference at the BOK Center on Tuesday, Sep. 14 at 1:30 p.m.

Media members will enter through the Grand Lobby Entrance near the intersection of 3rd and Denver. The conference will begin at 1:30 pm, and media can arrive as early as 1:00 pm. Interviews with head coach Rob Murray and management will be available at the conclusion of the conference. For more details about conference set up, media can reference the advisory sent to credentialed members on Friday, Sep. 10.  

“We obviously want the fans to be in attendance for such a monumental event,” said

director of media relations Zack Reynolds. “We will just have them come a little later

once the media is settled in.”

Fans can enter at 1:20 pm, sitting in areas not reserved for the media. Post-conference interviews will be exclusively for media members. 

“This is some of the biggest news we’ve had in my 14 years as general manager of the Tulsa Oilers,” said general manager Taylor Hall. “We are thrilled to share this news with the media, fans and the city of Tulsa.”

The Oilers kick off the 2021-22 season with a Friday night road tilt against the Rapid City Rush on Oct. 22 before opening at home against the Kansas City Mavericks on Saturday, Oct. 30.
