OILERS ANNOUNCE SERIES OF TRANSACTIONS
Forward Deven Sideroff has been reassigned from the San Diego Gulls by the Anaheim Ducks, and forward Danny Moynihan has been loaned to Manitoba of the AHL.
TULSA, OK — The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues, announced Wednesday that forward Deven Sideroff has been assigned to the Oilers, and that forward Danny Moynihan will join Manitoba on an AHL PTO.
Sideroff, 22, has compiled 19 points (6G, 13A) in 87 career AHL games with the San Diego Gulls. The Ducks’ third-round selection in 2015 began the year with Tulsa, tallying five goals and four assists for nine points in 11 games, leading the team before his call-up.
The 6’1, 196 lbs. forward registered 187 points (75G, 112A) in 208 WHL games with Kaloomps before turning pro.
Moynihan, 24, heads to Manitoba of the AHL on a PTO. This is the New Englander’s second stint in the AHL, previously playing 11 games with the Utica Comets during the 2017-18 campaign. The 6’1, 190 lbs. forward has 128 points (51G, 77A) in 166 ECHL games. Moynihan has notched 35 points and a team-leading 15 goals in 47 games with Tulsa this season.
Tulsa heads to Indianapolis to face off against the Fuel on Feb. 7 before traveling to Memorial Coliseum to battle the Fort Wayne Komets in Feb. 8. The Oilers turn around to host Utah on Feb. 11 at the BOK Center for $1 Beer Night.
