Tulsa, OK (April 6, 2016)–The ECHL announced today the 2015-16 All-Rookie Team. Among the list of players that was voted upon by ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, was Tulsa forward Dan DeSalvo.

DeSalvo ranks fifth among rookies with 35 assists and is seventh with 51 points despite playing just 55 games as he is currently loaned to Manitoba of the American Hockey League.

His first AHL game took place on March 9 where he inked an assist against the Iowa Wild. DeSalvo has earned eight points in 12 games with the Moose.

The Rolling Meadows, IL native spent four seasons prior to the Oilers with Bowling Green State University where he produced 102 points in 170 contests.

Both the first and second All-ECHL teams will be announced by the ECHL on Thursday.

The Oilers will play tonight at 7:05 p.m inside Intrust Bank Arena where they will face the Wichita Thunder for their 11th match-up of the season.
