CAPTAIN ADAM PLESKACH RETURNS FOR EIGHTH SEASON 

Franchise leader in games played returns to Tulsa for eighth campaign

TULSA, OK  — The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, announced Wednesday that forward Adam Pleskach has officially reported for training camp ahead of the 2020-21 season.  

Pleskach, 32, returns to Tulsa off his third-straight campaign without missing a game and his second-straight season leading the Oilers in goals. The veteran forward led the entire ECHL in goals scored with 38 during the 2018-19 campaign. Plekach’s other honors include being named to the All-ECHL team in 2018-19, the ECHL All-Star game in 2018-19 and the CHL’s All-Rooke Team in 2013-14.

During his Oilers’ career, the 6’2, 209 lbs. forward has played in 462 games, stockpiling 194 goals and 187 assists for 381 points. Pleskach ranks first in games played, second in goals scored and third in total points for the franchise. He leads all three categories for the Oilers in the ECHL era.

The Beausejour, MB native has also made one AHL appearance during his professional career, playing for his home-province Manitoba Moose. Pleskach also played 10 games with the Evansville Icemen as a rookie at the end of the 2012-13 season, registering one goal and seven assists for eight points.

Prior to turning pro, Pleskach played at American International College. The Oilers’ captain notched 59 goals and 55 assists for 114 points in 138 games for the Yellow Jackets, cementing himself as AIC’s third-highest point grabber and second-highest goal scorer of all time. Pleskach is the all-time leading goal scorer for the school at the D-1 level.
