FORT WAYNE, IN – The Fort Wayne Komets, and goaltender Pat Nagle shut out the Tulsa Oilers 3-0 Friday in the final meeting of the season between the two teams at Memorial Coliseum.

Shots were even at 11, with the Komets ahead 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Nagle carried his shutout into the third period after stopping ten more shots in the middle frame. Tulsa goaltender P.J. Musico turned away all six Fort Wayne attempts in the period, as the score stayed 2-0 after two.
Jamie Schaafsma added an insurance goal for Fort Wayne midway through the final stanza to advance the Komet lead to 3-0, as Nagle completed his second shutout of the season with 11 more stops in the third period. Musico made 27 saves on 30 Komets attempts.
